Greg Herenda: In addition to his decades of coaching Division I basketball, Greg is a regular analyst on Davidson University broadcasts and is also contracted to be an analyst on FS1 for Fox Sports. He also co-hosts a radio show, "Crashing the Boards" with Dave Popkin on Fox Sports New Jersey 1450AM 93.5FM. Herenda was also the Ivy League basketball analyst for YES Sports Network in New York City with legendary announcer John Sterling. He also hosted The Greg Herenda Show for six years while at FDU, which featured guests such as Hubie Brown, Dick Vitale, Jay Wright, John Calapari, and Jim Rome. Herenda became known nationally when he resurrected the program at Fairleigh Dickinson University by taking the Knights to two NCAA Tournaments in six years and guiding the program to its first NCAA Tournament win ever. Before that, Herenda had 22 years of experience as an assistant coach, with stops at Seton Hall, Yale, Holy Cross, East Carolina, UMass Lowell, and Merrimack College.
Known as a relentless recruiter, Herenda was responsible for signing the MVP of the McDonald's All-American game, Shaheen Holloway. Herenda also spent one year coaching professional basketball under President Oscar Robertson in the International Basketball League.
Greg has forged a reputation as a charismatic and impactful speaker. He is one of the few collegiate coaches to give a commencement address, which he did at FDU's graduation at MetLife Stadium in 2019.
